Dynamic new music download site for electronic music artists

HighFrequencyMusic.com is a state-of-the-art music downloading platform focused on all subgenres of electronic music.  HighFrequencyMusic.com is not an offshoot of any aggregators—and does not associate with subscription-based sites.  The site is passionately committed to creativity and all evolving areas of electronic music, from experimental to electronic pop.

 

The site is geared specifically to electronic music artists: realizing the sometimes “epic” nature of electronic music, the site offers unlimited storage and bandwidth.  This is unlike some websites, which limit artists to just a few songs’ worth of storage. (Keep in mind as we further upgrade, uploading limit is currently up to roughly 1000 megs per upload).   All memberships are free—and the site takes just the standard 15% commission on each track / album sold.  Artists can set their own prices and are paid quarterly via PayPal (payment schedule every 3 months beginning January 1, 2012). Artists can also post tracks that are not for sale, as promotional pieces.  All downloads are available in mp3 format.  HighFrequencyMusic.com will be promoted via a variety of platforms—including social networks, blogs word of mouth, business networking, and more.

 

HighFrequencyMusic.com offers several great features for artists.  These include an “item sales tracker” which will keep artists by informing them 24/7 of any sales from the site.  Additionally, this tracker includes lots of great demographic info, so that artists can better target their audiences.  Artists are allowed to upload individual tracks—as well as complete albums, giving them increased freedom. A User-Friendly backend is featured for both Artists as well as Fans, with a full range of customizarions.

 

HighFrequencyMusic.com is committed to the evolution in sound and spirit of electronic music—and celebrates the innovations by artists, and in modern technology.   The site was founded by veteran female electronic musician Carolyn Fok.  Carolyn has been heavily involved with electronic music—from the early reel-to-reel and multi-track eras starting in 1981, to the beginnings of midi thru to digital music.  Her first contact with electronic instruments began at age 9 when her dad—a systems analyst programmer—built homemade drum machines, effects, and synthesizers.  Also an accomplished visual artist and illustrator, she released several monumental albums fusing her electronic music, paintings, and writings. The site is also the exclusive home to most of Carolyn Fok’s prolific musical output. Her original art, photography and computer graphics are also used as designs on this site.

Today, HighFrequencyMusic.com is dedicated to celebrating electronic music’s unique position in the music world—one that utilizes equal parts philosophy and technology; machine and human.
